Welcome To the Best Post In The North Country
I would like to take this oppertunity to welcome you all that have come to our web site. We are trying to bring you the best updated information possible as soon as we get it.
As like most organizations we do a lot of work with very few members that can and are willing to work. I would like to list the work that the voulinteers have done this year.
New boiler (our old boiler has served us well, it was installed in 1967)
3 new windows in the small meeting room
Painted the lounge downstairs
New carpets and tile in the lounge downstairs and in the entry way
This work was mostly done by volunteer work from our members and a great job everyone did. I can only express my appreciation to the workers that helps us accomplish this work at a greatr savings to the post.
This post like any organization that is non profit and realize on a lot of volunteer help and like everyone else we need volunteers. This is a call to arms of all our members and non members that can find time to volunteer for just one event, we would appreciate you help. If every member could find the time to volunteer for just one event we could put our post on the map in NH. What does it take to make this happen and what kind of help do we need.
Kitchen help: Cook, slice or dice: wash dishes or serve food. We have a varitey of menus that even this writer can follow.
Turkey & Ham Raffle events: Ticket sellers, money collecters, prize givers, but most of all people that want to have a lot of fun.
Bingo workers: Thursday nights bingo starts at 7 pm and last for 2 hrs: need money collecters and prize givers. Not hard work and we have fun.
I can go on and on, but the bottom line is your post is one of the best deals going and we need your help. If at this time you can'T volunteer than come to the post or lounge and check us out.
